New positions opening in the Aerospace Innovation Hub team

Do you want to support and enable aerospace innovation? Then this opportunity might be for you! Three positions are opening at the Aerospace Innovation Hub. The Aerospace Innovation Hub is a community of start-ups, student teams, corporates, and other partners. Our goal is to support and enable sustainable aerospace innovation. Requirements and procedure

Are you a proactive student with enthusiasm for entrepreneurship? We are looking for TU Delft (AE not a requirement) bachelor or master students, available 8-12 hours per week on a flexible basis. Compensation will be done via Flexdelft. Community manager

The community managers are the primary point of contact for the community. They assist the community on an as-needed basis. Your responsibilities:

  • Taking care of the community. This could be in the form of coordinating start-up presence during industry events, setting up services for the start-ups such as the innovation ambassadors program, helping the community with networking goals, notifying the community about new funding or workshop possibilities, and other items that come up.
  • Taking care of the office. This includes organizing community drinks, taking care of the communal area, room reservations, the coffee machine, and the meeting room.
  • Supporting in various activities of the innovation hub. This includes the startup voucher programme, company visits, representation to industry and other partners such as TU Delft Campus, the municipality, the province, and other innovation initiatives and organisations.
  • Developing the business of the Aerospace Innovation Hub. This requires initiative and creativity, and a good sense of the needs of the community.
  • Flexible support of the Aerospace Innovation Hub activities.

PR & Communication

The Aerospace Innovation Hub has various channels for PR and outreach, which need to be maintained and require efforts to keep alive and engaging. This is at the core of your role. Your responsibilities:

  • The online presence of the Aerospace Innovation Hub. This includes maintaining the channels of the Innovation Hub and engaging with the community and industry.
  • The website. Updating and expanding the website is a recurring process.
  • Social media strategy. Set up a system for an active and recurring online presence. Could include coming up with new (forms of) content.
  • Social media management. Setting up and maintaining easy-to-use templates.
  • General branding. Maintaining the house style of the AIH. Includes the physical branding in the offices as well.
  • Flexible support of the Aerospace Innovation Hub activities.

Event manager

The Aerospace Innovation Hub is both host to and organizer of various events. These can be focused on start-ups, student internships/jobs, industry visits, industry events, university events, or investors. Your responsibilities:

  • Being the primary organizer for the AIH’s events. Coordinating location, catering, promotion, content, stakeholder communication, and tracking the finances for the various events.
  • Events coming up include:
    • An industry training event hosted at TU Delft and the AIH.
    • Demo day. For the first time, we are organizing an event where our startups can directly meet relevant investors, potential partners, and other stakeholders. A student recruitment component is also envisioned.
  • Flexible support of the Aerospace Innovation Hub activities.
