Workshop ‘Importance of an IP strategy’

Dear Community, The NAG would like to invite you to take part in the first of a three-part workshop series on the importance of a strong IP strategy! The series of workshops entails: Session 1: Building a Strong IP Foundation Session 2: Enhancing Collaboration through IP Session 3: Positioning IP for Investors and Clients Our speaker, Mirjam Ros, has over 15 years experience in aerospace leadership (Airbus, GKN Fokker, TNO), and now helps organisations—start-ups to government bodies—turn innovation into sustainable, profitable solutions. A strategic consultant in IP, partnerships, and innovation, she aligns partnerships, simplifies contracts, and drives growth. She is the author of The Innovation Matrix , and makes complex strategies actionable for lasting impact. The first workshop in the series will take place on December 10th 2024, from 14:00 - 17:00 at SAM XL in Delft. Back-to-School Community Drinks

The next round of the quarterly Community Drinks of the Aerospace Innovation Hub is taking place on the 12 th of September! If you have something new or interesting you would like to share during our short presentations, please let us know by sending an email to ae-innovationhub@tudelft.nl.

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting our Community Drinks again. It was great to see so many of you joining us! The program of the Drinks featured some exciting highlights: We kicked off with a warm welcome and a short introduction of our new team members Anne Wielens , Grégoire Dastros-Pitei , and Judith Laan . You will be seeing them around the hub much more in the future! We then had three engaging pitches from the start-ups that have recently joined our Startup Voucher Program! Here is a short introduction to each of the start-ups: Emergent Swarm Solutions is working on a fully decentralised and on-board autonomous aerial swarm system for search and rescue applications Lennart Bult , Seppe Van den Bergh JetGuard BV is developing a blockchain-based part tracking system for aviation, and is currently looking for a co-founder! Alessandro Simonelli Helena Momoko Powis presented her work on a rapid and cost-effective testbed for CubeSats, which she is working on with Serena Maroquin The program was capped off by an inspiring pitch from Axient , who have recently landed in Delft. Their vision and insights left us motivated and excited for what lays ahead! The evening sparked many new conversations and collaborations! Thank you to all the speakers and attendees for contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.

Space for Life is organized at the TU Delft by the Aerospace Innovation Hub together with PLNT Leiden. The program starts with a workshop organized for students focused on taking your professional dream to the next level. Then, we will host a panel discussion on the cross-relevance of Space tech in biotech, and vice versa. Sign up and join expert researchers and startup founders who strive for more Space for Life! Workshop When was the last time you took your professional dream seriously? Join our “Seize Your Dreams” workshop to take your next step. During this workshop you will build a plan of how to make reasonable progress towards your dream within 3 months. PLNT Trainer Micha Heilman will guide you through the process of determining “SMART Goals” and setting up an action plan for you to achieve them. You will leave this workshop with actions to take in the next 24 hours to reach your dreams, and a new network of like-minded people within your faculty. Panel Space is a topic that often is regarded as real life sci-fi, and can seem very remote. However, space influences our daily lives more than you know! During this panel discussion you will see examples of how life science can be advanced using spin-off technologies from space, and how spaceflight is made better using life science.
